Community Hope has provided funds to start a dairy in south western Kenya near the village of Kilgoris. The dairy started in the summer with two registered Holstein heifers. They have had their calves and are producing milk that is being sold to the local Co-operative. The plan is to add another two heifers in the next two months.

This picture below is of Professor Noah Angwenyi from the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton on the left. He is the advisor for the care of the cows. On the right is David Nkume who is the caretaker of the dairy. Along with caring for the cows he is also a school teacher in the public schools.
